Jared Proctor

Lead Pastor

Jared and his wife Dawn married after he graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 1999. After ministering to college students in Springfield MO, they served with a traveling ministry for the next 10 years leading worship and preaching in a variety of settings. In 2008, Jared accepted his first pastorate, where he served faithfully until he and his family were called to Springhill in 2018. Jared and Dawn are blessed to have three wonderful children; Levi, Aleiah and Titus. Jared has a great love for God’s creation and enjoys spending time with his family hiking, fishing, and hunting.

Nick Whistance

Associate Pastor

In 2012, Nick completed his graduation from Evangel University. He and his wife, Emily, got married in 2008. Following their marriage, they dedicated five years to serving as missionaries with the International Mission Board. After their overseas service, they felt a calling from the Lord to join the Springhill community. Nick now serves as the Associate Pastor, contributing to the church in areas such as Missions, Discipleship, and Collegiate Ministry. Outside of his pastoral duties, Nick cherishes moments spent with his family, creating adventures in the great outdoors.

Tyler Mendoza

Student Pastor

Tyler and his wife Alicia began serving at Springhill in 2021, after graduating from College of the Ozarks earlier that year. Tyler moved from Colorado to Missouri, to attend Bible college in pursuit of his calling to ministry. Tyler and Alicia have served together since they met in college, and feel a calling on their lives to serve the Lord together. They love spending time discipling students and care deeply for the youth of our church. They have one son, Urijah. Tyler enjoys running, hiking, and board games. Alicia enjoys worship, baking, and gardening.

Jess Falke

Children’s Minister & Communications Director

Jess started attending Springhill as a college student in 2010 and quickly became connected through serving in missions and the children’s ministry. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 2013 with a BA in Elementary Education and Middle School Math. Jess has served K-12 students as a classroom teacher, a community development specialist, and a behavior specialist for 10 years before accepting her position at Springhill in 2023. She loves the outdoors, but only when it’s warm, and has a goal to swim in every ocean and share the gospel in every continent.

Belinda Ward

Financial Director

Belinda and Roy married in 1982 and have two children and six grandchildren. Belinda has been a lifelong member of Springhill. She began serving as financial director at Springhill in 1994. She loves spending time with her family. Her and her family especially enjoy vacationing and playing board games together.

Dawn Proctor

Ministry Assistant

During her college years, Dawn chose to say “yes” to whatever the Lord called her. She studied Child & Family at MSU, but her greatest education came through discipleship through the BSU on campus. Jared and Dawn were married in 1999 and began traveling in event ministry. The Lord then called them to serve His local church, where Dawn gets the honor to love on and disciple women. Dawn has been blessed to serve their home and disciple their children Levi, Aleiah and Titus. Dawn enjoys traveling, photography, hiking, board games with friends and going on adventures with her family.

Carson Funk

Worship Leader

Carson began serving at springhill in November of 2020. He recently graduated from Missouri State with a degree in Vocal Music Education in 2024, alongside his wife Leah Funk. Carson enjoys joining in worship each week as part of the music team here at Springhill. He loves being in nature, spending time with his family, and watching movies at home with Leah.
