What to Expect

When you come to Springhill, our friendly welcome team will greet you and help you get where you want to go. Those with children can expect a welcoming, secure check-in to our transformational yet fun kids ministries. When attending our service, you can expect an approximately 70-minute, focused time of worship through singing, prayer, Bible reading, and a Bible-based sermon. During the service, we will give you a chance to respond without pressuring you to do so. We’ll sing theologically accurate songs from all generations, lead by musicians on guitars, drums, and keys. And, we’ll present the full counsel of God’s inspired Word, not shying away from difficult topics or passages. Most important of all, we hope you’ll expect to sense the presence of God and to be changed by Him!

Preschool

Wee Connection is available at both the 9AM and the 10:30AM Sunday worship service for your child Birth through Pre-Kindergarten. Kids can participate in a loving, nurturing environment where they will learn how much God loves them.  We want kids to connect with who God is and understand Him through song, study and story.  We believe children learn best in an age appropriate environment specifically geared toward meeting their needs.

K-6th

Kids Connection is available for your child Kindergarten through 5th grade at 9:00AM on Sunday mornings.

Growing spiritually doesn’t just happen. It occurs when we apply God’s word to our lives. No child is too young to learn and experience God’s love. Through exciting Bible lessons, activities, songs, and games, we strive to build a Gospel centered foundation. We want to connect your child to God’s word, and His word to their lives so they have the tools to own their own faith.

Kids Kindergarten through 3rd grade have an extended worship hour available.  All kids worship with their parents during the main 10:30AM service, and then are dismissed for a time of age specific lessons designed to grow deeper in God’s word.

Middle & High School Ministries

Springhill’s Student Ministry meets at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings for grades 7-12, and Wednesday evenings at 6:00-7:30 PM.  We study God’s Word to ensure that students know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, grow in their spiritual walks, and are then equipped to go share the gospel with their world.  We also meet at other special times for fun activities and for discipleship times that provide opportunities to interact with other students at Springhill and in the community.

Our mission is to be faithful in every field.   And, one of the best ways to accomplish this mission is to walk through the Bible together. Scripture is our source for truth and wisdom, and when we study it together, we grow closer to God and to one another. So, we have a regular time of Bible study every Sunday at 9AM. Each class is different, but you can expect a conversational environment led by a teacher who pours his or her heart into sharing God’s Word. Our classes study everything from books of the Bible, theological themes, and Biblical characters to practical wisdom for parenting, relationships, and other areas of life. For those new to Springhill, our Sunday morning Bible study classes are one of the most convenient ways to get connected with like-minded Believers. If you need help choosing a class, feel free to contact a staff member or ask for help at our Welcome Center located just inside the doors under the awning.

The early church didn’t merely sit together in a service. They lived, prayed, cried, rejoiced, and supported one another. So, we invite you to join a LifeGroup, Springhill’s venue for creating deeper Christian relationships. In a LifeGroup, you will link arms with Believers and help one another follow God through the ups and downs of life. We pray God will use your LifeGroup to transform your walk with Him!

LifeGroups meet weekly or bi-monthly in homes or other cozy environments. The meeting time typically includes eating, hanging-out, and praying together. But groups also discuss difficult questions, work through Scripture, and strive to apply sermons to real life. Beyond meeting times, we hope LifeGroup members will invest in one another daily, not just during formal meeting times.
